                                                       directing the dagger scene

I would set the dagger scene as Macbeth looking around the room for a dagger "a dagger of the mind, a false creation" (2.1.37)I would create this scene so that Macbeth would seem more crazy looking for an item that isn't actually there "mine eyes are made the fools o'th other senses" (2.1.44). I think that that scene2 would make Macbeth look more crazy if he was the be looking around the room for a object that is no where to be scene.

                                                         is Macbeth mad in 2.1

Macbeth is mad this is shown in the dagger scene when he sees a dagger that isn't actually there. "or art thou but /A dagger of the mind , a false creation.(2.1.37-38)Macbeth is mad because he is seeing false image wishing there was a real dagger. This is why Macbeth is getting mad because he hallucinates. I can understand why Macbeth would be getting mad because it would be very frustrating to see things that isn't actually there.
