Brett Gaynor thesis statement on copyright laws and the freedom of sharing art, music, film etc. He believes that culture should be able to use others , or parts of others would such as songs , videos , beats etc. I think the film is bias because it only really argues one point in the film the main argument is that girl talk is against copy rights and how new artists use old artists work and they don't like it .
In the film there is many devices but the one that stood out the most to me is , Anecdote like the woman who got fined $100,000 . and another device is a allusion. They used led zeppelins song whole lotta love and one verse sounded a lot like one blues musician song.
My essential argument is I think you should be able to use another persons material to a certain extent, but I think copy rights are dumb and that people need to relax and let something's slide. or maybe copyrights could let people buy some material and that would solve a lot of problems . But I understand why copy rights are made because its like stealing someone's work with outr permission and that's bot fair I think in the future copy rights should have certain limits on how they should work.
